Turn On the Light

Welcome to “The Light Blog”.  I am so excited that you joined the blog journey with me!

One of my favorite poems is from Robert Frost, called “The Road Not Taken”, especially the line that says,

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by ...  And that has made all the difference.”

After being in the industry doing organizational transformation and development for the past 15 years, at top companies like Fleet Securities, Lehman Brothers, Bank of NY Mellon, Grant Thornton, and other companies, I chose the road less travelled to leave the steady paycheck and pursue what I wanted: to serve start-ups, entrepreneurs, and small to medium size companies develop processes to succeed in their business. 

If you have taken a step into the unknown, you will know that it wasn’t an overnight idea. You have probably been preparing for this your whole life and didn’t even know it!  

For example, I left a full-time job one time to take an internship position without any hopes that it would turn into a full-time, or the time I left the comforts on my born and raised state of New York and moved to the most unassuming state you would ever place a Wall St., New York City business girl like me: Texas.  I took the road that was the least travelled on, and it definitely has made all the difference in my world.
